Educating students, the future custodians of our communities, requires the integration of technology across all year levels and learning areas in order to provide them with the necessary skills for meeting the demands of a rapidly changing world.
Integrating ICT into the curriculum provides students with opportunities to use technology to develop and refine their higher order thinking skills: to analyse, evaluate and create.
The ICT Integration Project provides an opportunity to facilitate learning utilising the TPACK framework of knowledge across pedagogy, content, and technology. The Project will be delivered as two separate components: (1) Planning and (2) Publishing.
This Project has been designed to achieve the following objectives:

- Produce an educational ICT resource encompassing four sequential lessons which reflect the requirements of the WA/Australian Curriculum for a nominated year level and learning area.
- Incorporate a minimum of three student-centred ICT tools engaging students in the subject matter.
- The tasks set for students must incorporate inquiry-orientated, problem-solving and creativity aspects.
- Provide students with opportunities to use ICT collaboratively reflecting the Social Constructivist learning theory emphasising learning through interaction with others.
